Delegate to a Customer's Canopy
How MSP admins use Delegate Login (and Sign In As) to work inside a customer's tenant in Synthreo Canopy without their credentials.

Why this matters for MSPs
Section titled “Why this matters for MSPs”Many administrative tasks for a customer account - managing their users, creating customer-specific AI models, or controlling who can use which models - must be performed inside that customer’s tenant, not your own MSP session. Synthreo lets you step into a customer’s tenant without ever needing their credentials:
- Delegate Login opens that customer’s Canopy (and Builder) with delegated access. This is the session you use for the MSP admin tasks in this guide.
- Sign In As opens that customer’s ThreoAI as one of their users, for support and verification.
You only need these flows for customer accounts. Tasks for your own MSP organization are done directly in your own Canopy session.
Throughout this guide, “open a delegated session for the customer” means using Delegate Login to open that customer’s Canopy.

Notes for MSP admins
Section titled “Notes for MSP admins”- A delegated session is separate from your MSP session - both tabs stay open and independent. Switch back to your original tab to return to your MSP context.
- Every change you make in a delegated session applies only to that customer’s tenant.
- You can keep multiple delegated sessions open in separate tabs at once.
- Customer administrators can also sign in to Canopy directly with their own credentials at canopy.synthreo.ai.
