ThreoAI Profile Settings

Manage your ThreoAI profile — update personal context, configure memory, set up two-factor authentication, and access your Synthreo Builder account.

The Profile Settings page lets you manage your account information, personalize how ThreoAI interacts with you, control memory, configure two-factor authentication, and link to your Synthreo Builder account.

ThreoAI Profile Settings General tab showing user context fields and default model selector

There are two ways to open Profile Settings:

  1. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner, then select Profile from the dropdown menu.
  2. Navigate directly to https://threo.synthreo.ai/#/profile.

At the top of the Profile page, three read-only fields display your account details:

  • Id — Your internal user ID
  • Name — Your display name as registered in the system
  • Email — Your account email address

These fields are managed by your organization’s administrator and cannot be edited directly from this page.

The Visit my Builder account button opens Synthreo Builder — Synthreo’s no-code AI workflow engine — in a new tab. Use this to build and manage AI automations that can be connected to Custom GPT Actions.

The 2FA Method dropdown lets you switch between Email and Authenticator App verification. Select your preferred method and click Save — the change takes effect on your next login.

For full MFA setup and troubleshooting steps, see Setting Up MFA.

The General tab contains three text fields that personalize how ThreoAI responds to you. This context is included with your conversations so the AI can give more relevant, personalized responses.

FieldDescription
What should Threo call you?Your preferred name or nickname for ThreoAI to use in conversations
What do you do?A description of your role, responsibilities, or how you use ThreoAI
Anything else Threo should know about you?Any additional context — preferred communication style, topics to focus on, things to avoid, etc.
Default ModelSets your personal default AI model for all new chats. Leave empty to use your organization’s default model instead.

Tips for writing effective context:

  • Be specific about your role: “I’m an IT support specialist at an MSP handling 50+ client accounts”
  • Specify communication preferences: “Keep answers concise and use bullet points where possible”
  • Add domain context: “I work primarily with ConnectWise, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments”

Note: The models available in the Default Model selector are controlled by your organization’s administrator. If you don’t see the model you want, contact your admin to have it enabled in Tenant Management.

After updating your fields, click Save to apply your changes.

The Memory tab manages ThreoAI’s ability to remember facts from your conversations and apply them automatically to future chats.

ThreoAI Profile Memory tab

ThreoAI Profile Memory tab showing the Use Memory toggle, Import Memory button, and list of memory items

The Use Memory toggle at the top of the tab enables or disables memory for your account.

  • Enabled (blue) — ThreoAI saves facts it learns during conversations (e.g., preferences, project context, personal details) and recalls them in future sessions.
  • Disabled — ThreoAI does not retain or use memory across sessions.

Below the toggle, a table shows all memory items that have been stored. Each row includes:

  • ID — The memory item’s unique identifier
  • Content — A truncated preview of what was remembered (click to view the full content)
  • Conversation ID — The conversation where this memory was created
  • Project ID — The project (if any) associated with this memory
  • Created — The date and time the memory was saved

To remove a specific memory item, click the 🗑️ (trash) icon on its row. This permanently deletes that item and ThreoAI will no longer reference it.

To delete multiple items at once, use the checkboxes on each row to select them, then use the bulk delete option.

Tip: Periodically review your memory items to remove outdated or irrelevant entries. Keeping memory accurate and up to date improves the quality of ThreoAI’s responses.

Importing Memory from Another AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and More)

Section titled “Importing Memory from Another AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and More)”

ThreoAI Import Memory dialog showing the two-step process to migrate memories from another AI assistant

The Import Memory button lets you migrate your saved context, preferences, and instructions from any AI assistant into ThreoAI — so you don’t have to rebuild your personalization from scratch when switching to or adding ThreoAI alongside another tool.

This works with any AI that has a memory or context feature, including:

  • ChatGPT (OpenAI) — supports stored memories across conversations
  • Claude (Anthropic) — retains user preferences and context via Projects memory
  • Google Gemini — retains personalized context over time
  • Microsoft Copilot — remembers preferences and user context
  • Perplexity AI — stores user preferences and instructions
  • Meta AI — maintains memory across interactions
  • Any other AI assistant that can respond to a structured export prompt

How to import your memory:

  1. Click the Import Memory button — the “Import Memory” dialog opens.
  2. Step 1: Click Copy to copy the provided export prompt. Open your current AI assistant (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) and paste the prompt into a new conversation. The AI will return your stored memories and context organized by category: Instructions, Preferences, Personal Context, Projects, and Miscellaneous.
  3. Step 2: Copy the AI’s full response and paste it into the text area labeled “Paste the memory list here…” in ThreoAI.
  4. Click Import to save the memories to your ThreoAI account.

Once imported, the memories appear in your Memory Items list and ThreoAI will reference them automatically in future conversations.

Switching from ChatGPT to ThreoAI? This feature is the fastest way to carry over everything ChatGPT knows about you — your preferences, instructions, and working style — without retraining ThreoAI from scratch. Using multiple AI tools? You can import memory from any AI that supports memory or personalization, consolidating your context into one place in ThreoAI.
