What you'll accomplish
Pylon is Synthreo's agent workspace: autonomous Agents and deterministic DAGs living side by side, with one set of data surfaces and one place to watch what they did. This track makes you fluent in it. By the end you will have an Agent that runs itself on a schedule inside guardrails you set deliberately, a DAG you chose to build as a DAG for a reason you can state, and the habit of reading a run rather than guessing at it.
It is the product half of what used to be the AI Builder track. The other half - deciding whether to automate at all, and how to tell whether the thing you built is any good - is now AI Builder, which is vendor-neutral and has no prerequisite either. Take them in whichever order suits you; most people find one makes more sense of the other.
What you'll need
- Access to a Pylon workspace. It is provisioned by your administrator or by Synthreo - there is no self-serve switch - so ask before you start rather than halfway through.
- At least one chat model enabled for your account. If none is, the agent editor says so and the create button stays disabled; that is an administrator task in Canopy, not something you can fix from Pylon.
- One real recurring task worth automating. Not a toy - the guardrails only teach you something when the run costs something.
- About 4-6 hours, best spread over several sittings.
- A certification account (included in your Synthreo licensing or partnership) so progress syncs and the exam unlocks.
Work the stages in order. Each one names what to read, then gives you something to do in the product. Mark the task done and the track checklist below fills in as you go.
